Tactile Maxi-Memory 'Everyday Life'
A large-format tactile memory game with different textures featuring real images of everyday life. For working on tactile discrimination, visual memory and attention through the sense of touch.
You can play both the classic and tactile memory games. Inspired by the Montessori methodology.
The game consists of 34 cards make of thick, strong cardboard which is hard-wearing and high quality. Each card contains a different texture relating to real-life images of the environment. Cards measure: 9x9cm.
RECOMMENDED AGE: From 3 to 8 years old. This game is also suitable for children of other ages, children with special needs, as well as for adults who want to work on their tactile differentiation, visual memory and awareness through touch. The groove on the underside of the cards allows them to be positioned correctly during the game.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: o To develop concentration and observation. o To exercise visual and tactile memory through real-life images containing different textures. o To integrate the information from various senses to learn about the objects. o To use tactile differentiation to recognise different textures. o To enrich the vocabulary relating to environmental objects.
