Feelings family hand puppets
Excite, Loved, Nervous, Frustrated and Lonely.
Encourage children to connect to their feelings with the Feelings Family soft, friendly hand puppets that they will love to hold! They are designed to fit on a child's whole hand, so they can use their thumb and pinky finger to move the puppet arms, and their other fingers to move the puppet's head!
Each puppet expresses an emotion through its unique facial expression, body position, and design- providing children a comfortable way to identify and talk through their feelings. Each puppet has soft textures and make crinkle sounds that add a layer of sensory play.
As they explore the puppets through dramatic play, role-play, and guided discussions with peers and adults, children will start to understand five secondary emotions in themselves and in others: loved, nervous, frustrated, lonely, and excited.
Children will learn how to use facial and body clues to identify their emotions. Children can explore each puppet's attributes and think about how different emotions feel on the inside and look on the outside. Explore positive and negative feelings through hands-on play!
